Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort is one of Finland's best-known and most talked about travel destinations. This family business, founded in 1974, is in Saariselkä, Lapland. Kakslauttanen hosts around 30,000 visitors each year, majority of them from abroad. We are looking for skilled and experienced waiters to join us for our winter season 2025-2026.

Contract is seasonal, starting mid October- beginning of November until end of March 2025. We provide full hours, 112,5h/3week period.

The person we are looking for:

• Has relevant education, training, and previous experience
• Alcohol serving and Hygiene passport is a plus (we can also help with that)
• Capability to work with modern technology and cash register
• À la carte serving skills
• Efficient in handling food and beverage items including dietary information

• Flexible in working different shifts
• Good customer service skills
• Positive and professional attitude towards work and customer service
• Previous experience working in a large restaurant or resort/cruise ship/hotel restaurant is considered as an advantage

We have two main restaurants serving our guests during the winter season, in East Village and in West Village. Both restaurants can fit several hundreds of guests.

The location of the resort is in the middle of lovely nature, and here you also have time to enjoy nature and try different activities that you might never get to try otherwise. We have also a small gym for our staff, and possibilities to try cross country skiing and other winter activities.

It is possible to rent an shared apartment through us, so it is easy to join us where ever you are coming from. Apartments are for two people. In terms of employment, we follow the Finnish collective agreement of the tourism and restaurant industry (MaRa), and the salary is according to the agreement, considering the applicant's previous experience and education.
