We are now looking for a team member to work with us during the winter season 25-26 as a receptionist/waitress/waiter in our Utsjoki Arctic Resort. The resort is located in Utsjoki, near the border of Norway and Finland. Contract is seasonal, starting latest in November until the end of February 2026. We provide full hours (112,5h/3week period.)

What is the role?

A Hotel Receptionist is the first friendly face our guest meet, and he/she will make the guests feel welcome, manage room bookings, and assist with guest request during their stay. The role will be versatile, you will be also assisting in our restaurant, therefore we hope you have also some experience working as a waitress/waiter in a restaurant. 

The role will involve:

• Checking guests in and out
• Assisting and guiding guests
• Booking activities, arranging transport
• Answering emails and phone calls
• Supporting colleagues with other tasks around the resort as required (e.g. in restaurant)

Desired qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Fluent in written and spoken English. Other languages are considered an advantage.
  
• Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality / Tourism
• Previous international work experience
• Previous experience cooperating with people around the world is a plus
• Good knowledge in PMS or similar, we are using Mews
• A proactive attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with professional attitude, the team is quite small.
• A driving license is a plus
• Utsjoki is a very quiet and a small village, so we hope you feel comfortable working in a remote location like Utsjoki.

Salary will be negotiated for this positions according to the contract and experience and in other terms and conditions we follow the collective agreement of the tourism and restaurant industry.
